The Data Input by users is a significant aspect for the ' Fruit&Veg ' Project to carry on. Several forms which are structured in two groups are used for this purpose.
MAIN / GENERAL FORMS
The purpose of these Forms is to Input Data in a particular file. According to the figure below, the Forms are structured in 4 areas.
 |
( A ) Form Heading. It shows the source of the new information, namely, who has introduced it. Should you be one of the partners, you must enter a Password. Otherwise you must enter your name and e-Mail address.
( B ) New Information. These fields are used to introduce information corresponding to a new file. Compulsory fields are indicated thus ( ).
( C ) New Images. New images related to the new file must be introduced here. Some files do not allow images, and the graphic format must always be regarded.
|
( D ) Bottom of Form. Links and Buttons to Submit the Form. There are links to Related Files ( e.g. to link a recipe with the ingredients ) and another link to relate two files and therefore access a Link or Secondary Form. There are also the Send Button ( to submit all new data ) and the Delete Button to edit out data introduced in the different fields of the Form ( e.g. to introduce a new File ).
If you do not click on the Send Button, data are not submitted and therefore cannot be released. No Form should be reloaded or else all the data may be lost. Once the data are correctly submitted, you shall receive an appreciation note in return.
Acess to all Main Forms is available from every file's Commands Bar ( it will only access the form of the file you are in ), or from ' Fill the Form ' in ' Your Turn ' Topic.
SECONDARY / LINK FORMS
The main aim of these Forms is to introduce a Link between two already introduced Related Files ( e.g. ' Apple ' from the ' Fruits ' file and ' Apple Pie ' from the ' Recipes ' file ). This set of forms appear in a Pop-Up Window from the Navigator.
According to the figure, three different areas have been classified:
 |
( A ) Source File. You may choose which one of the Source Files is to be linked ( either already released or pending ).
( B ) Target File. The same as in ( A ), but for the Target File.
|
In any case, there must be both a Source and a Target File in order to issue a Link, either already released or pending. Otherwise, files should be introduced through the corresponding General Forms.
( C ) Bottom of Form. It has the same functions as in the Main / General Form.
Once a Source or Target File is chosen, all the distinctive information appears, so you can make sure the link to be released is correct.
